Cost effective option with decent quality  
I did a bunch of research before making this choice for an iPad protective cover. I just wanted something that didnt cost a bundle but provided basic protection for the iPad without making it a hinderance to use.

This case surpassed all my expectations. I didnt even consider how nice the ability is to stand it up with this case but thats a huge bonus. So if you are looking for a cost effective decent quality case without spending a ton of cash I think youll be happy with this product. : 2010-09-18 12:34:38

Not even an approximation of leather and companys CS iffy too  
I returned this item almost as soon as I saw it. Despite the name not only is this not made of leather it is not even leather like. This item screams "Cheap Plastic Here" at the top if its lungs. in fact It looks like it wants to go out of its way grab passer-bys by the collar and yell "plastic!" in their ear.

It is also quite thick essentially making you ipad twice as think and significantly heavier in the bargain.

To make matters worse when I bought it the company had a promotion - buy it using this specific method and you get an ipad screen protector for free. I did as instructed (and saved screen shots of every step so I could prove it) and I was still charged for the screen protector. When I called Customer service they denied such a deal existed and made me send them the screen shots upon which 10 days later they refunded the extra charge. Since the screen protector never showed up i conclude I was charged for it before it was ever shipped.

i-pad case  
I bought this case for my very picky 12 year old son. He loves it and uses it constantly. It is thick enough to fully protect the i-Pad from scratches and even a short drop but thin enough to carry around comfortably. He LOVES the way you can adjust it to make it into a stand for viewing videos. It is sturdy attractive and well-worth the price. When I first purchased my iPad I also got the apple case that the apple store offered. The case wasnt as thick and durable as I first assumed. I then turned to my YouTube account to see which case was the most popular. This Acase Leather Flip Book was one of the first ones I saw and quickly became interested. I subsequently returned the apple case and ordered the Acase. When it arrived I was in a bit of a rush and didnt have time to do an unpacking video review but I was able to take the case out of the packaging and slide my iPad right into it. I was very surprised by its durability yet light weight. The straps hold the iPad in very snug and I dont have to worry about it falling out when I open the case. The raised "bumps" within it are tremendously helpful with propping up the iPad when I need to display something or very convenient when I dont have a desk to work on. Good case for the price  
Who knew shopping for an iPad case could be so confusing. Every case I looked at had some amount of customers who didnt like it for some reason this one included.

I settled on this case because it seemed like a good case for the price and I am very happy with it. The material is nice and it looks good. The iPad is reasonable protected. It stands up fine. My only issue is when it is propped up the buckle can be in the way. I solve this by tucking it under the bottom flap.
